This article explains in detail the USB tuning board connection method and parameter setting of Feather series ESCs (80A/100A/130A/200A/300A, etc.), which is suitable for debugging and optimization of underwater robots, ROVs and other equipment, and will further help you use underwater thruster ESCs.
Step 1: Connect APISQUEEN USB tuning board and Feather ESC
Applicable models:
APISQUEEN Feather 100A Brushless Motor ESC
APISQUEEN Feather 130A High-voltage Brushless Water-cooled ESC
APISQUEEN Feather 200A/Feather 300A High-power Underwater Thruster ESC
Operation steps:
Connect the ESC signal line to the tuning board: orange line to yellow line, brown line to brown line.
Download and unzip the APISQUEEN official tuning software, run the application, skip the initial pop-up window and enter the main interface.



Switch between Chinese and English languages in the upper left corner of the software to improve the convenience of operation.
Step 2: Configure the COM port to communicate with the ESC
Select the COM port (such as COM3/COM4) to which the computer is currently connected.
After clicking "Connect", power on the ESC and the system will automatically read the device information.
Click "Read Parameters" to obtain the current configuration to ensure that the APISQUEEN ESC communicates normally with the software.
Step 3: Analysis of the core parameters and functions of the APISQUEEN ESC
Thruster start-stop sensitivity: optimize the response speed of underwater equipment
Brushless motor PWM frequency: adapt to different load scenarios
Overcurrent protection threshold: ensure stable operation of 300A high-power ESC
Waterproof seal detection signal: exclusive underwater application safety setting
Step 4: Parameter saving and verification
Click "Write Parameters" to save the configuration to the APISQUEEN ESC.
Re-read the parameters to confirm the effectiveness and complete the settings after power off.
