Haven’t tried out the thrusters yet. Upon arrival one thruster had an oil leak, and the other had a badly-cast prop, it wasn’t sitting true on the shaft, so I ordered a replacement.
I sent in an email mentioning the issues I discovered during the unboxing and Lynn replied quickly - confirmed the oil leak was to be expected as motor equalized pressure, and she said the wonky prop would be fine. But since the prop is readily available, I purchased a replacement that I will install before I actually use the thrusters. Lynn also confirmed there is a 1 year warranty, so that helped ease my concerns.
So far, so good, but I haven’t actually used the product yet.

I received the motors with some delay...but that's not a problem. I couldn't test them this year...I'm far from water now...and it's cold. I'll test them in water in 2026. Now I've only done a short dry test. I powered them with a 51 Volt LFP battery...the remote works well...adequately...does what I expected. It's too bad that the remote is not waterproof...I hope this shortcoming will be overcome in the future.
